This is a friendly, family run motel. It is clean,well maintained, comfortable, and the rates can't be beat! Everything was better than expected... Very comfortable beds, spacious rooms, a TV that really works, and quiet,quiet,quiet for a great nights rest. I give it 5 out of 5 stars!
The room was clean and comfortable. The owner/operator was welcoming. It kind of felt like staying in the extra room at your great-aunt's house - the towels may not have matched, but little details, like providing salt and pepper shakers, made it seem like it mattered to someone that we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We would gladly book here again.
The price was good and the rooms were clean. But it was hard getting sleep here. The motel is right on the street and a block or so from a fire station. Sirens went off and trucks went by. Another member of my party had a room that was near a bar and loud music kept her up. Also I was the only one of my party who had a non-spouse roommate and the second bed was a twin. That combined with a thin pillow made it hard to get comfortable. The wi-fi went off overnight and wasn't on in the morning. A couple people in my party didn't have cell service and needed the wi-fi. Overall it was an ok place but I don't think I'd stay there again.
This is a clean, comfortable motel. It's a fine place to stay! If you need a place to stay in Ticonderoga you can't beat the rates and the spacious rooms with a huge stone fireplace and nice new TVs. I have no complaints about my stay and would definitely recommend and return to this place.
What a charming and authentic Adirondack experience. A great family place to tour the area from. We kayaked Lake Champlain and the base camp accommodations were perfect. A central location and a wonderful spot. Restaurants in the immediate area were perfect and local in both menus and warm hospitality. A great place for a vacation to launch from.
