Awesome place if you appreciate history, even our kids were impressed to say nothing of the grand children, been back three times.
Nice place. Good presentation of history. Some interesting artifacts. Overall, an enjoyable way to spend some time if you are in the area.
Fantastic presentation of historical people and events. Guides and re-enactors are the best. The cafe is good too. Its a must see place.
For those interested in Revolutionary War History, this is an important site. It has almost been fully restored and features an outstanding collection of firearms and larger guns used in the defense of this strategic location in the those days.
The docents are often clothed in replicas of the uniforms worn during the era, many of which are fabricated just for use here. There are unusually daily demonstrations. We were able to see how French Soldiers would aim and fire a cannon.
Came up to the area for the Star Trek Experience and some sightseeing. Spent over 4 hours walking around here and seeing the displays and still didn't see it all. I will definitely be going back when I have the chance.
This one is worth the trip.
